The newly Jigawa state’s leadership of the African Democratic Congress, ADC has dissolved former state’s leadership, and expelled some of its prominent personalities based on the affirmation of the party’s EXCO by the State’s party’s Central Working Committee.
Amongst the expelled member’s are Ahmad Mahmud Gumel, Bashir Adamu, Abba Anas, Sabo Mohammed Nakudu, among others.
In a statement issued and signed by the State party Chairman, Kabiru Husseini ( Na Rungo) was quoted as saying I wish to reiterate and reconfirm that Mohammed Sani Gumel who has consistently engaged in activities contrary to the principles and integrity of our party including the alleged commercialization and sale of party mandate was expelled from the African Democratic Congress, along with others.
According to Na Rungo, his expulsion was ealier affected during the 2023 General Elections, and today we reaffirm that decision once again. ADC is not for sale in Jigawa state, and we shall never allow the selfish interest of individual to override the collwctive interest of our members and supporters.
The statement added that any individual who refused to identify with the legitimate leadership of the Jigawa State’s ADC leadership under our recognized structure hearby stands Expelled from the party in accordance with the Constitution and guidelines of our great party.
In a swipt reactions, Ahmad Muhammed Gumel disowned such an actions as saying as far as IAM Concern, it is only the national headquarters have the mandate to halt our leadership not a crop of unidentified personnel’s.
In a telephone interview, Gumel admonished that we haven’t received any official statement of our dissolutions as to effect of our leadership of the Jigawa state Chapter of the ADC.
Least amongst the newly State’s Executives include Him. Kabiru Hassan ( Chairman) Deputy Chairman Ahmad Sankara Gerawa, Hon. Abba Champ, State’s Vice Chairman.
Others are Ahmed Jamilu State’s Financial Secretary, Sagir Rabiu Babura Legal Adviser, Zubaida Ahmed Gumel Women Leader.
In his post election speech, Kabiru Husseini pledged committed to fairness, justice, entrenchment of purposeful leadership in line with the ADC laid down Constitutional provision.
