2027: Philanthropist, Collins Onyeaji  Picks  NDC Expression Of Interest Form For  Reps

Collins Onyeaji will be contesting the House of Representatives seat for Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East Federal Constituency under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). This marks a new phase in his political journey and reflects his continued dedication to grassroots representation and service to the people.
A statement signed by the Chisom Gift Akposioha on behalf of the
Media and Publicity  Collins Chigozie Onyeaji Grassroots Movement (CCOGM), made available  on Saturday May 16, 2026, said that  he is a strong believer in grassroots development, which continues to shape his approach to leadership and community engagement.
“Collins Onyeaji represents a new generation of leadership built on courage, proven results, and a deep commitment to the people of Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East.
“From humble beginnings in Omuma to becoming an international entrepreneur and consultant, his journey reflects resilience, vision, and transformative leadership,” the statement said.
It added that he is not offering empty promises but brings tested solutions, international partnerships, and the capacity to deliver. His leadership style is people centered, transparent, and results driven.
According to the statement, “his FOUR POINTS AGENDA is focused on practical and sustainable development. On youth empowerment, he is committed to creating opportunities through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship support, and global exposure for young people.
“In education, he aims to improve access to quality learning by supporting schools, providing learning materials, and expanding initiatives like the ‘Back to School Project’. In healthcare, his focus is on strengthening primary healthcare systems, improving access to medical services, and supporting community health programs. In agriculture, he seeks to modernize farming practices, support local farmers, and promote food security across Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East”.
It added that a major aspect of his community impact is the Collins Onyeaji Foundation, through which he has implemented the Back to School Project.
“This initiative supports education by providing school materials, financial assistance, and learning support to students and pupils. The program has positively impacted many beneficiaries across the South East, especially in Orlu, Orsu, Oru East, and Imo State at large, helping to improve access to education and reduce school drop out rates among underprivileged children,” it explained.
The statement further said that he is also active in youth empowerment and sports development through British AUC and B Soccer Academy Manchester, reflecting his continued focus on developing talent and creating opportunities for young people.
