The member House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Sani Jaji emerged winner at the just concluded All Progressive Congress (APC) House of Representatives Primaries for Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara State.
Jaji who is the North West Director Of Contact and Mobilisation for Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 general elections scored 37,064 votes at the primaries.
Aminu Sani Jaji who served as the returning officer for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 2023 general elections, defeated his major contender, Hassan Umar who scored 1,400 votes.
Reacting over his victory, the incumbent lawmaker described the primaries conducted by the Committee send by the APC National Secretariat under the supervision of the INEC officials as credible and transparent exercise.
The Federal Lawmaker assured of support to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He also assured to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov Dauda Lawal’s re-election bid.
He commended INEC officials, security agencies, the media and party stakeholders and loyalists.
Jaji applauded the peaceful and orderly conduct of the APC members and supporters and entire people of his constituency.
The lawmaker also thanked the Zamfara State APC leadership and other critical stakeholders of the party for the cooperation that ensured the successful conduct of the exercise.
He expressed satisfaction and deeply humbled by the overwhelming confidence reposed on him by APC members across the 21 electoral wards of Kaura Namoda/ Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency who voted for him during the exercise.
“This is a great honour for me and greater responsibility to serve my people for third term.
“I want use this medium to restate my commitments, dedication, sincerity and results -driven representation for good people of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency.
“I will continue to remain committed to pursuing initiatives and opportunities that will continue to uplift the constituency and meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the electorates.
“Together, we shall continue to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal for a new and greater Nigeria, Zamfara State,” Jaji explained.
