2027: Tinubu Will Win In Zamfara With Wide Merging, Says APC Chairman
The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Alhaji Kabiru Moyi Birnin-Magaji has promised President Bola Tinubu unprecedented votes in the 2027 general election, assuring that the APC will win the state with wide margin.
Moyi stated this on Wednesday while speaking at the rally organized by APC political groups in appreciation of the recent appointment of Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari as Director-General of Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), ahead of 2027 general elections.
Thousands of supporters across the 14 local government areas of the state participated in APC rally with a WALK from the Zamfara Trade Fair Complex to the Government House, Gusau.
The rally was organised by Senator Abdul’aziz Yari political organization and other political groups in appreciation of President Bola Tinubu’s gesture to the state by appointing Yari as his Presidential campaign DG.
The APC state chairman, afterwards presented a letter of appreciation from the Political groups in the state to Gov. Dauda Lawal at the Government House, Gusau.
Birnin Magaji commended the political groups for organising the rally and their loyalty and support to the APC.
Receiving the appreciation letter, Governor. Dauda Lawal, represented by his Deputy, Malam Mani Mummuni said the unprecedented crowd and large number of APC supporters who participated in the walk indicated the popularity of the party in the state.
Lawal expressed confidence that the APC will win all political positions in the state in the 2027 general elections.
“This also indicate the unity and mutual understanding among the party leaders especially Sen Yari, Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, Gov. Dauda Lawal and former governors, deputy governors, former speakers among others.
“On behalf of the APC leadership in the state, we appreciate President Bola Tinubu for appointing Senator Yari as Director-General of his Campaign Council,” governor said.
Lawal, who described Zamfara as a home of the APC noted that Yari’s appointment is a great opportunity and honour to the state to showcase its voting strength in the 2027 general elections.
“I believe Yari is capable to deliver the assignment given to him, especially being a grassroots politician with great capacity in the national politics,” Lawal said.
He promised to personally hand over the appreciation letter to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking earlier, Dr Lawal M Liman, the Chairman Senator Yari Political Organisation said the rally was organised to show an appreciation to Tinubu over Yari’s appointment as his Presidential campaign Director-General.
“On behalf of the entire party members and supporters, we are going to work for APC’s success at all levels and positions in the 2027 general elections in the state,” Liman assured.
