Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has urged all APC candidates in 2027 general elections to intensify mobilisation in their respective constituencies. Speaking while taking the delivery of four brand Hilux among other buses donated by Senator Ahmed AbdulHamid Malam- Madori representing Jigawa North East Senatorial District at Govt House Dutse. Governor Namadi directed party leaders and campaign officials to take the party’s message to all the 287 polling units across the state and sensitise residents on the achievements of the federal, state and local governments.
“We have put our strategies in place and established all the necessary committees. From now on, our people will begin visiting every polling unit to sensitise and enlighten the electorate on what the APC has achieved at the federal, state and local government levels,” Governor Namadi has said. Presenting the vehicles to the presidential campaign council through Governor Namadi at the Government House, Dutse, Senator Malam-Madori, Representing Jigawa North East Senatorial District has said the vehicles were equipped with communication gadgets to enhance coordination in conducting campaign activities.
Senator Malam-Madori who is also the Senate Committee Chairman on Police Affairs disclosed that more than 10 additional buses and cars had also been provided to the APC in Jigawa North-East Senatorial District and across the state to support the campaigns of Tinubu, Namadi among APC candidates. The senator said the two leaders deserved a second term to consolidate upon their achievements and complete ongoing human and infrastructural development projects.
According to him, the administrations of Tinubu and Namadi have introduced programmes and executed projects aimed at improving the living conditions of Nigerians, particularly residents of rural and urban communities. He called on patriotic and progressive Nigerians, particularly the people of Jigawa State, to support the re-election of Tinubu and Namadi in 2027 to sustain their respective development agendas. “Tinubu and Namadi deserve a second term in office to consolidate their achievements and complete ongoing human and infrastructural development projects across Jigawa State and the country,” he said.
Madori added that returning APC candidates to the National Assembly and the Jigawa State House of Assembly would enable the party to sustain its legislative and development agenda. He urged party supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation and enlighten voters on the achievements of APC-led administrations at the federal, state and local government levels. Receiving the vehicles, Governor Namadi expressed appreciation to the senator for his support for the party, the campaign councils and his constituents the Jigawa North-East Senatorial District.
The governor commended Madori’s commitment to strengthening the APC and supporting its preparations for the 2027 general elections. In a related development, Governor Umar Namadi also caution APC leaders alongside party’s officials to strategies and develop effective campaign strategies, establish necessary committees and ensure that the party’s structures in preparing adequate ground for APC’s success in 2027 elections.
