The Save A Soul Ultimate Humanitarian Foundation, in collaboration with Pro – Democracy Groups in Nigeria has written a letter to the British Prime Minister, requesting for an independent investigation, into alleged killing of Christians and Muslims, as well as a British tourist, under the watch of Kaduna State’s immediate past Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai.
The group expressed concerns over what it described as crimes perpetrated by “so called untouchables” in Nigeria.
The group in the letter jointly signed by Comrade Anthony Ojemba Chigbo and Comrade Salisu Isa, said, “Our concern is the absence of consequences in Nigeria for the likes of the former governor of Kaduna State that have enabled unbridled impetus to executive lawlessness that embolden people in authority to fund fundamental Islamists to commit heinous crimes without being held accountable.
“Victims of these crimes cut across religious divides. Over time, these fundamentalists have gained institutional status and recalcitrance culminating in the inevitable recent designation of Nigeria as a ” Country of Concern” by the President of the United States of America.
“As patriots, we are disturbed and have come to the conclusion that only a properly constituted and supervised independent investigation will get to the root cause of this terror malaise if it must be contained in the interest of the greatest majority.
“Our resolve is that no authority can undertake this arduous task better than your very exalted and transparent office. Without proper independent investigation of the vocal impunity laden likes of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and bringing them to book, the genuine well intended efforts of the government of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will degenerate into an endless pit.”

Investigations into the murder of the British tourist in Kajuri Castle in Kajuri local government area of Kaduna State have assumed the status and appellation of ” unsolved crime” because those saddleled with the investigative responsibility are incapacitated by the suspected remote involvement of the likes of the former governor of Kaduna State who doubled then as a member of the kitchen cabinet of the then former President; Mohammadu Buhari. The good news is that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is no longer under immunity from investigation and possible prosecution.
In the event that you decline our request that we consider “a matter of the fierce urgency of now”, the late murdered British citizen ; Ms Faye Mooney employed by a non-governmental organisation named ” Mercy Corps” and her also murdered male companion and three others kidnapped from the scene alive and taken away would be perpetually denied justice. The careless utterances of the then governor of Kaduna State and his callous display of zero empathy may have been instrumental in festering insecurity and should in our opinion be adjudged as a crime against humanity. The Nigerian authorities promised the British High Commission an investigation into the murder of her citizen with a view to see that justice is seen to be secured for the victims. This promise in our honest view is as empty as numerous other promises volunteered as revolving political solution to the vicious cycle.
For stocking the embers of intolerance, violence and divisions and vowing openly before the print and electronic media to make Nigeria ungovernable and threatening EU election monitors with death, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai then governor of Kaduna State deserves to be independently investigated to ascertain his level of complicity in attracting the brutal terror industry that has brought Nigeria to her knees.
We urge you Mr. Prime Minister hasten the constitution of an independent investigation of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as part of your contributory efforts to help Nigeria dismantle executive impunity for the good of the greatest majority in your cherished former colony.
