VIP Guard: Zamfara NSCDC Trains 200 Corps, As Gov. Lawal Vows Maximum Support

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State on Friday graduated 200 officers in VIP protection Guard.

Speaking at the Passing Out Parade, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal represented by the permanent Secretary Ministry of internal security Alh. Attahiru Yazid said His Excellency is putting all his efforts to compliments security agencies in seeing that this insecurity issue has been resolved.

“We recognize that security is the foundation of peace, development and prosperity. Without security, meaningful development cannot thrive. Therefore, we will continue to prioritize our policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening internal security mechanisms, supporting security agencies and fostering collaboration among relevant stakeholders.

Earlier in his welcome speech, the Commandant CC Sani Mustapha said “it might interest you to know that the VIP Protection Training Course I is the Maiden Edition to all State Commands of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, second to only the National Headquarters (NHỌ). This milestone is only actualized due to your strong and resilient contribution to the Security of Zamfara State and NSCDC, Zamfara State”
He said the Command is determined to deliver on its mandate.The VIP Protection Training scheme is organized to adequately educate,
orient and equip personnel of the Corps with the necessary skill, endurance, discipline and ethics of protecting the important personalities as a new mandate to NSCDC, following the Federal Executive order 2025 by the President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR.”

“Consequently, the training is timely. considering the impending electoral
processes and the increased demands of the elites needing VIP Protection.

“In completion of the Two (2) Weeks of rigorous training aimed to equip personnel with the ability to discharge the added responsibility industriously” He added.
