The Coordinator of Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari’s constituency office, Alhaji Sha’ayau Sarkinfawa Talata Mafara has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Senator Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari as Director-General of his Presidential Campaign for the upcoming 2027 general elections
Sarkinfawa made the commendation while speaking to newsmen in Gusau in Saturday.
Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara State, currently represents Zamfara West Senatorial District at the senate.
Sarkinfawa described Yari’s appointment as well deserved.
“Senator Abdul’aziz Yari is capable of leading Tinubu’s campaign considering his political value and experience.
“He has held various political positions in Zamfara and Nigeria as a whole. Yari is one of the founding fathers of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“He started his political career as State Secretary of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), later became State Chairman of the same party, a former member of the House of Representatives, and a two-term Governor of Zamfara State.
“As a former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, I believe he is capable of leading the APC to success in the 2027 general elections in the country,” he said.
The Coordinator appreciated President Tinubu for appointing their leader as D-G of the Presidential Campaign on behalf of the entire people of Zamfara West Senatorial District.
